About Jessica Baker, LAc, RH (AHG)

Jessica Baker is an Author,  Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Aromatherapy  and Educator.  Jessica began studying herbal medicine in 1999 at the Dandelion Herbal Center. In 2001, she had the opportunity to complete a Community Herbalist Certification Program with Christopher Hobbs, LAc in Southern Oregon.  In his program, she was introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic techniques, theories and herbs. This was the catalyst for her study of TCM at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA where she received a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.   Jessica holds a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in California and Colorado.  While pursuing her Masters Degree she studied Medical Qi Gong and became certified as a Medical Qi Gong Practitioner.  She has studied Medical Aromatherapy through the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and with Jeffrey Yuen.  She is a certified Acudetox Specialist (ADS) through NADA and has worked extensively with Veterans and others with PTSD. As a Continuing Education Provider to Acupuncturists she has the opportunity to share the importance of traditional medicine to both healthcare professionals and laypeople. Jessica’s passionate about sharing the messages of the plants through classes on Aromatherapy, Herbalism and Chinese Medicine. Jessica has taught at several herbal symposiums and Acupuncture conferences throughout the U.S. She has authored several articles as well as a book, Plant Songs: Reflections on Herbal Medcine. Jessica has grown cannabis since 1997 and owns and operates a cannabis clone nursery and processing facility in Oklahoma.
